About us

L’INSTITUT, SUR LE BOUT DE LA LANGUE was founded in 2011 by Sylvie Lévesque, a graduate in modern languages from Bishop’s University.

Ms. Lévesque is the director of the language school, who will assist you in choosing the course that suits your needs best.

Her linguistic experience and humanistic approach help her clearly define your objectives and guide you on your personalized path. Ms. Lévesque ensures that she is surrounded by a team of competent language teachers who demonstrate the human qualities essential to quality teaching. Her teachers demonstrate compassion, patience, and respect for learners.

KARINA

My name is Karina. I am an English and Spanish teacher. I have 13+ years of experience teaching English to young learners and adults from diverse countries. My experience in mentoring students and modernizing curriculum makes me an excellent candidate to support students’ mission of fostering language learning and cultural awareness. I have obtained some certifications to update my English and Spanish teaching skills to deliver effective lessons and successfully involve students in their learning process. It will be my pleasure to be your teacher and help you to achieve your academic goals.

JILL

Hello, my name is Jill. I was born and raised in the Eastern Townships in a bilingual family. I studied English as a Second Language at Bishop’s University, and I have been teaching ESL to children, teenagers, and adults for the past 15 years. What I like most about teaching is seeing my students progress and improve their English language skills.

MARIANA

Originaire du Mexique et établie au Québec depuis 2017, Mariana compte sur 10 ans d’expérience dans l’enseignement des langues. Elle aime s’amuser avec sa classe et elle aime apprendre à connaître ses élèves. Hors de son horaire de prof, elle adore passer du temps aux côtés de sa plus chère camarade: la musique.

NIURKA

I have been working as a German teacher for 30 years, not only with individual students but also in groups, and love to assist learners of German on their adventurous journey. German is not as difficult as its reputation …. Dare !

SOFYA

Douce et attentionnée avec ses élèves, Sofya enseigne l’anglais et le russe à toutes les catégories d’âge. Ses apprenants adultes apprécient sa méthode d’enseignement personnalisée et ses élèves plus jeunes ont toujours hâte à une prochaine leçon avec elle.

DAYRON

Professeur dévoué, assoiffé de nouvelles connaissances, je m’intéresse tout particulièrement à l’enseignement des langues étrangères. Enseignant de français, anglais et espagnol, rien de moins!

ISRAEL

Originaire du Mexique, j’enseigne le français depuis 1999 et l’allemand depuis 7 ans. Mon expérience comme enseignant de langues étrangères s’est surtout déroulée dans des institutions d’enseignement supérieur avec des publics à des intérêts très variés. Traducteur et conseiller en certification de compétences en traduction littéraire, je m’investis dans des projets personnels visant le mariage de la traduction littéraire et les arts calligraphiques en lettre arabe.

MARILUZ

Enseignante passionnée et dévouée, elle est appréciée pour sa patience et ses compétences didactiques hors-pair. Mariluz enseigne l’espagnol et l’anglais avec nous depuis plusieurs années déjà.
